Future Continuous Tense म्हणजे काय?

Future Continuous Tense म्हणजे भविष्यात एखाद्या ठराविक वेळेला एखादी क्रिया सुरू असेल, हे दर्शवणारा काळ.

मराठीत याचा अर्थ साधारणपणे “करत असेन”, “करत असशील”, “करत असेल”, “करत असू” असा होतो.

उदाहरणे

I will be studying at 8 p.m. मी रात्री ८ वाजता अभ्यास करत असेन.
She will be sleeping then. ती त्या वेळी झोपलेली असेल.
We will be travelling tomorrow morning. आम्ही उद्या सकाळी प्रवास करत असू.

हा काळ विशेषतः भविष्यातील एखाद्या विशिष्ट वेळेला सुरू असणारी क्रिया सांगण्यासाठी वापरला जातो.

Future Continuous Tense ची रचना (Structure)

Positive Sentence

Subject + will be + Verb + ing + Object

Examples

I will be reading a book. मी पुस्तक वाचत असेन.
He will be playing cricket. तो क्रिकेट खेळत असेल.
They will be watching TV. ते टीव्ही पाहत असतील.

Negative Sentence

Subject + will not (won’t) be + Verb + ing + Object

Examples

I will not be sleeping. मी झोपलेलो नसेन.
She won’t be cooking. ती स्वयंपाक करत नसेल.
We won’t be waiting. आम्ही वाट पाहत नसू.

Interrogative Sentence

Will + Subject + be + Verb + ing + Object?

Examples

Will you be working tomorrow? तू उद्या काम करत असशील का?
Will she be studying? ती अभ्यास करत असेल का?
Will they be travelling? ते प्रवास करत असतील का?

WH Questions

WH Word + will + Subject + be + Verb + ing…?

Examples

Where will you be staying? तू कुठे राहत असशील?
What will she be doing? ती काय करत असेल?
Why will they be waiting? ते का वाट पाहत असतील?

Future Continuous Tense कधी वापरतात?

1. भविष्यातील ठराविक वेळेला चालू असणारी क्रिया

At 9 p.m., I will be studying.
Tomorrow morning, she will be travelling.
This time next week, we will be enjoying our vacation.

2. एखाद्याला त्रास न देता योजना विचारण्यासाठी

Will you be using your laptop this evening?
Will you be driving tomorrow?

हा वापर इंग्रजीमध्ये खूप नैसर्गिक वाटतो.

3. दोन क्रिया एकाच वेळी सुरू असतील तेव्हा

While you are sleeping, I will be working.
When you call me, I will be travelling.
