इंग्रजी शिकताना “A, An, The” हे शब्द खूप महत्त्वाचे आहेत.
यांना इंग्रजीमध्ये Articles म्हणतात.

Articles म्हणजे काय?
“A, An, The” यांना Articles म्हणतात।
हे शब्द नामाच्या (Noun) आधी वापरले जातात।

Use of “A”
“A” कधी वापरतो?
ज्या शब्दाची सुरुवात consonant sound ने होते, त्या singular noun आधी “A” वापरतो।

Important Note
“A” आणि “An” हे spelling वर नाही तर sound वर अवलंबून असतात।
Example:
An honest man
इथे honest चा उच्चार “ऑनिस्ट” असा होतो.
“H” silent आहे म्हणून “An” वापरतो।
A university
University चा उच्चार “युनिव्हर्सिटी” असा होतो.
“Yu” sound येतो म्हणून “A” वापरतो।
Use of “The”
“The” कधी वापरतो?
जेव्हा एखादी वस्तू, व्यक्ती किंवा जागा specific असते तेव्हा “The” वापरतो।
